LVDL Celebrates Another Million

Our circulation reached one million in early June! Library Director Bob Watson said, ““This is an a-m-a-z-i-n-g number.  When the final numbers are in we’ll have loaned over 30 items per capita and something over 100 items for the average family within the library district Our district residents are incredible library users.”  Annual circulation reached one million for the first time per fiscal year on June 25, 2008. The library circulated 1,019,238 items in FY 2007-08.

Library Director Bob Watson (left) presents items to celebrate the occasion to Lindenhurst residents Robert and Roberta Esp.
