A dog is a great listener, particularly when you’re practicing reading out loud. Kids are paired with a certified therapy dog (and their handler) to read for 15-minute sessions. Register in person or by phone beginning Monday, January 2; please register for each date individually.

Eureka Science: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Coding for Kids & Parents

(Grades 4-6) Coding is a family affair! Bring your laptop and your parent(s) and learn how to make a Frogger game using Scratch 2.0. Before the program, please make sure you have installed the latest version of Java--ask us if you need help--and your laptop is fully charged (bringing a cord is a good idea anyway). In this historical portrayal of Pierre Salinger by veteran actor Terry Lynch, the tragic events of November 22, 1963 and the 1000 that made up the Kennedy administration are covered.
