Love to Read? Need Community Service Hours? Become an IDOL!

Are you in grade 6-10? Do you adore books and reading? Are you interested in earning community service hours? If you've answered "yes" to these questions, you should consider becoming a Lake Villa District Library IDOL!

What does an IDOL do, you might ask? Don't worry—you don't have to sing. Instead, you'll read to preschoolers, write book reviews, listen to little kids practice reading, and recommend books to your peers.

Shifts are for one hour a week; we have IDOLs in the library on varying days and times. Ask at the Youth Services Desk (or call 847-356-7711) to find out what opportunities are currently available.
