The Lake Villa District Library Board has two trustee position openings to serve out terms expiring in May 2023.
Those interested must be residents of the library district and should be familiar with the community, library standards and trends, and advocate for the library in the community. Library Trustees attend monthly meetings, set policies, oversee the annual budget and support the library director and staff in carrying out library initiatives.
Please submit a letter of interest by March 31, 2022 to Doug Nieman, Board President dnieman@lvdl.org and Mick Jacobsen, Library Director mjacobsen@lvdl.org Interviews will be held during the April Board Meeting on Monday, April 11, 2022.
