Soft and pretty
Like a kitty
All different colors but stems of green
Oh flowers can't be mean
They are always in your yard
It's easy to love them, not too hard
Most need light
But can survive the night

They look pretty near a face
In a book
Or a tiny nook
On a hill
Or in the hair of Jill

Never on rats

2nd Place: National Parks by Annabelle S. - 5th Grade

From Acadia to Zion, beauty all around,
From the city buildings to the shiny seas,
The parks have everything that will please.

Snowy Alaska to sunny Hawaii, the hottest springs to the coldest
snow and beautiful flowers put on a show.

The tiniest humming bird and the biggest moose,
Animals always on the loose. Butterflies and polar bears, what
secrets do the animals share?

History, 1 million years old to just about 10 years ago. Wonders all
around, dinosaur fossils and caves in the ground. 

Go head, take a look, visit the parks. Take nothing but
pictures, leave nothing but footprints, and let the adventures start!
