Lindenhurst, IL — It’s FRODOvember at Lake Villa District Library, a monthlong celebration of all things Tolkien, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
During November, LVDL will become a little corner of Middle-earth where visitors can browse an exhibit of Tolkien memorabilia, attend a variety of themed programs and celebrate the high-fantasy world that has captivated generations of readers.
Focusing on a single theme during November is something the library has done for the past few years with great success. “This year promises to be especially fun,” said library director Mick Jacobsen. “With our new Hobbit-inspired house, I think we’re just the place to celebrate FRODOvember.”
