Darlene Bock’s “Fine Art in Pastel” on Exhibit at Lake Villa District Library
Lake Villa District Library is proud to present Fine Art in Pastel by Darlene Bock as its Featured Artist Exhibit for May and June. Bock has earned Signature Status with both the prestigious Pastel Society of America and the Chicago Pastel Painters. Her award-winning work has been juried into numerous national and international fine art competitions, as well as solo and group exhibitions in galleries throughout the Midwest.
Boller Construction Selected to Complete Library’s Outdoor Space Project
Lindenhurst, IL — The Lake Villa District Library Board of Trustees has approved Boller Construction’s bid for Phase II of the library’s outdoor space plan.
Boller Construction was selected as the lowest responsible bidder—one that not only submitted the lowest price but also met all project specifications and demonstrated the ability to successfully complete the work.
Discover Millburn’s Rich History at Lake Villa District Library

“Inspirations in Watercolor” on exhibit at Lake Villa District Library
Lake Villa District Library proudly announces Maureen Holcomb and Carol Fink Sackschewsky’s “Inspirations in Watercolor” as the March/April Featured Artist Exhibit. Representing the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation, the exhibit features landscape, watercolor, still life and figurative watercolor works.
Holcomb and Sackschewsky will do a watercolor demonstration on Thursday, March 20 from 6-7pm at the library, located at 140 N. Munn Road, Lindenhurst. For more information call 847-245-5115.
